If you guys wrote paid posts for payperpost you know who Colleen is. She’s the big money blogger. She is the highest payperpost earner of all time. She’s the Mohamud Ali of paid posting. That’s quite an achievement. I’ve been curious about who she is and what she blogs about for quite some time now. Never really investigated until today. Just wanted to share with you guys in case you guys wondered who this lady was too.

Who is she? How much did she make? She’s made $18,165.74 with payperpost. Well, Colleen started blogging back in 2003. She runs several other blogs. She’s 31 years old and resides in Florida with her husband. Colleen loves coca cola and 90210…and long moonlit walks along the beach??? (this is not my house. just wanted to match my theme) Back in 1998 i purchased my first house. I was still in college at that time. I had saved up around $20,000 and wanted to invest the money. I met a real estate agent through my parents and i started to get interested. Back then, homes were really affordable. I bought my first duplex for $190,000 in Los Angeles, CA. Now, you can’t find a foreclosed home in LA for even $400,000. Why did i risk all of my saving and buy a property? Well, it made sense. It made simple mathematical sense. It took me over a month to figure out the ins and outs of blogging. I have to say that i am fully converted. I love it. It’s time consuming yeah…but it’s so much fun. I’ve registered over a hundred domain names because i got over zealous. But it’s ok because i plan to develop most of them. I’ve learned that it’s hard to get a blog up during the first month but after that it becomes pretty easy. You don’t have to hack the theme anymore and all of the setup is done. all you have to do is write a post every two days or so.

One of my businesses deal with real estate. So i figure i will set up a real estate website and blog. simple as that. Find other things you are interested in, or things you know a lot about and set up another website.

I’ve done some research about other real estate related blogs and i found one that is particularly good. The Property Pundit is a well written blog that discusses real estate ventures and news. If you haven’t already visited the site i recommend you do so now. I found the site while i was surfing on johnchow dot com. Steve from property pundit was a guest writer for the chow. That means he’s a pretty good writer right. Swing by over there and tell him the noob sent ya.

Want to give that special someone a romantic gift? Buy him or her a telescope. What’s so romantic about a telescope noob? Well you’re just thinking about a telescope. You have to think deeper then that. A telescope by it’s self is not romantic at all. But what you do with a telescope can be very romantic. Looking out into the stars during the cold winter with your boy or gal can be one of the most romantic things. Think about it. It’s cold, and you wrap her with a nice blanket with a cup of coffee and you point out the stars to her. I’m getting all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it. Out of all the paid posting sites, payperpost is by far the best for me. It features the most job opportunities and it’s the one that people are most willing to join. I started writing for payperpost on Nov 4th. That’s when i wrote about payperpost for $20 dollars. That’s the first posting gig available. Posting opportunities started coming in around Nov 20th. So for about 9 days i’ve been writing as many as i could for my $100 challenge. So far i’ve made $221.29 with them. $131.29 for posting and $90.00 in referrals. The thing that kept me from starting my own blog sooner was the fact that there are a lot of scams on the internet. Recently i signed up with entrecard. Its a ad service where you rack up credits by showing other blogs on your site. It’s similar to blogrush but you have a picture(card) instead of a text link. Well i just discovered that my site is one of the most popular on entrecard. WooHoo. Not too shabby for a blog that is one month old. When you start you get 2 credits/day. I’m up to 26 credits/day. Johnchow dot com is the most popular blog followed by Johncow dot com. As you can see I’m in 30th place. Not bad at all noob.
