Alzheimer’s Memory Walk

August 20th, 2008 by the noob

Remember when you were in grade school and they would have walkathons? I do. I didn’t realize it back then, but i now realize that it’s a great way to get awareness out there for serious issues. It’s a great way to get a lot of people involved. Above all, it’s a great way to raise money for various charities. Bloggers usually blog about personal issues. On my blog, bloggernoob dot com, i mostly talk about things within my niche. I mostly talk about how bloggers can make money online. But, it’s also good to give back for the greater good. Right now, i wanted to bring exposure for Alzheimer’s. The Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care. You can participate and help with the support and research. Volunteers of all ages can become champions in the fight against Alzheimer’s. There are walks in more than 600 communities. A typical Memory Walk is a 2-3 mile walk held on a weekend morning during the fall. Participate in the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk this fall.
