I started bloggernoob dot com because i wanted to see if it was possible to make a few bucks online. I quickly found out that it is. Even if you are a complete newb, you can make anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars during your first few months. I recently started branching out into other internet ventures. I’m currently working on two big project. I’ve invested over 20k into these internet businesses. I’m convinced it’s real. I’m very excited about what’s in store for me in 2008.
Making money online is legit. Of course there are a lot of scammers out there, but there are more that are making a lot of money with their internet businesses. For every Google or Facebook, there are thousands of no name million dollar internet companies. You won’t be the next Google, but you can be the next no name internet millionaire. All you have to do is get on the train and start your journey. Here are the baby steps to making money online.
First, Get your own domain and hosting. Start with a blog. Grow your blog until you can consistently make around a thousand dollars a month. This can be done by affiliate commissions and paid posting. After your blog grows, you can sell some ad space on your blog for more income. It you work at it, you will make money with your blog.
Secondly, set up other types of websites. Learn about affiliate landing pages. This is your basic, buy ads on adwords and get paid via affiliate commissions or adsense scheme. As long as you can spend $50 for every $100 earned, you’re good to go. Getting into this type of business will help you learn SEO and keyword hacking. You can set up forums, niche websites, fansites, the works. To save costs, host it on the same account as your blog. Most web hosts let you host multiple domains and websites on one account. As your sites grow, get your own dedicated server so it can handle the increase in traffic.
Third, after you’ve made some money with your second business, invest in programmers to set up a specialty website. Entrecard was developed by the kid who set up milliondollarwiki. It’s catching on pretty quick. Setting up something like this can give you a fat payday if you end up selling the site. Look at shoemoney and auctionads. Auctionads is a piece of shit, but because it grew so fast, shoe was able to sell it for 6 figures. He didn’t program it. You don’t need to be a programmer to develop these ideas. There are a lot of freelance guys who can make these type of websites for you. You have to weed out the useless programmers, but they are out there. Requires some capital but risk vs reward is very high with this type of business. Maybe you can sell one of your websites(blogs) to finance this step. These sites aren’t that hard to make. They just take existing technology or web applications and mash them together. You can find plenty of web developers who know how to tweak APIs for you.
Once you’ve reached this plateau, you’ll consistently get jobs working as a consultant or expert. You’ll also get paid to speak in useless conventions.
I didn’t want to get too detailed in this post, but i will later explain each step as my money making journey progresses. The important thing is to have a goal. Be sure to set your goal high but on a realistic level. If you found this post to be of interest, maybe you should subscribe to my RSS feed. Leave a comment or email me if you have any questions.
