If you look on Ebay, you’ll find that there’s a market for celebrity items. You can sell pretty much anything that’s related to a particular celebrity. I always thought it was fascinating how people would pay money for random signitures of celebrities. Why is that worth any money? Read More to Make Money Online »

I put my feedburner counter up a couple of weeks ago. Before that, i didn’t even have 100 subscribers so i didn’t want to display it on my front page. I put the counter up after i reached 100. It was a mini accomplishment but i know deep down inside, these counters mean nothing. Read More to Make Money Online »

Remember the Rat pack? Or the Brat pack? The Rat pack included Sinatra, Martin, and Sammy. The Brat pack had the Estevez brothers and Rob Lowe. These cliques always stared in the same movies together. They ran around the same parties and sucked each other WooHahas. It was all a marketing scheme back then and it’s all a marketing(pyramid scheme) now. I now introduce the Make money blog pack. This clique includes shoemoney, johnchow, and a few other dorks. Every blogging tip included this sentence. “Write what you know.” But i find that a lot of bloggers don’t go by this rule. I read people blogging about a topic and i can tell that they don’t know what they’re talking about. They’re just spitting out things they read on someone else’s blog. Don’t pretend you know something when you don’t. Give some credit to your readers, they’re not stupid. They’ll see right past your pseudo knowledge. Speaking from experience is the best source for your articles. If you don’t have any experience, then you better gain some. If you don’t know about an ad network or marketing trick, don’t pretend that you do. Just be honest. If you want to write about it, then try it out and speak of your experience. Don’t judge the site by what someone else wrote about it. I know a lot of bloggers are lazy. They don’t want to try new things. They don’t want to join stuff. They don’t want to click stuff. Clicking requires too much energy. Most bloggers just want to chill and write a few posts here and there. They might kiss some high profile ass, but they won’t get down and dirty to grow their blog. I know cause of what i see on people’s blogs. Read More to Make Money Online »

I have a lot of experience in attending and participating in trade shows and conventions. I’ve attended numerous real estate development conventions all across this country. I’ve even been a speaker at one. I’ve also attended the magic show in Las Vegas for a couple of years when i dabbled in import export. What have i learned at these conventions? Very little. I think it can be a fun and and positive experience, but usually you don’t make that many contacts or find anything that will give a boost to your business. Read More to Make Money Online »

I have mixed feeling about this issue. How do you know when you have too many ads on your blog? How many ads are too many? It’s all relative to the type of blog you own. It also depends on the quality of your content. Also, the layout and spacing varies this equation. Read More to Make Money Online »

I made a lot of mistakes in 2007. I’m a newb so it makes sense that i goofed on a few things. I consider failure or mistakes as the best educational tool. The important thing is to fail and restart and keep pushing. Just don’t give up and you’ll win/success one of these days. I wanted other newbies to learn from my mistakes, so i’ll list se7en things i would do different if i could turn back time. Read More to Make Money Online »

I’ve come to the conclusion that blogrush sucks. I’ve had this stupid widget on my blog for around two month and it brought be around 20 readers. It has to be one of the most overrated widget in the history of blogging. Have you ever clicked on a blogrush article? Me neither. To think it was backed by some major venture capitalists. Idiots! Entrecard is way better and it was made by some random college kid.
So i have decided to give blogrush the boot. I can still leave it on my blog until i find another use for the adspace, but i want to start the new year off without this loser of a widget slowing my load time up. Bye Bye Blogrush.

The Noob is a big fan of paid posting. The reason being that it enables newb bloggers a way to make a few bucks with their blog. If sites like payperpost or sponsoredreviews didn’t exist, most bloggers would only make pennies. If you were lucky, you’d probably be able to pull in enough in one month to buy yourself a cup of coffee at starbucks. But, because of paid posting, new bloggers can make at least a few hundred bucks a month with their money making blogs. How much can you make with paid posting? Let’s find out.
