Most people in the blogosphere lack creativity. They don’t want to think outside the box. They are incapable of thinking outside the box. That’s why there are so many johnchow clones on the internet. In the beginning i was guilty of it too. I didn’t know how to start so i tried to incorporate the style and tone of a few bloggers i liked. But, i didn’t get any visits until i started finding my own voice. After you start though, you better find your own style or your blog won’t make shit. It your blog is the same as johnchowclone dot com, why would i read your blog? That’s why i visit johnchow dot com when i have time. I figure if i read half of his first post, I’ve read a thousand other blogs already. Like killing a thousand and one birds with half a stone.

If you want to be a follower, don’t expect on making any money with your blog. Quit now and save yourself the 10 dollars a month in hosting.(i’m only talking about make money blogs)

I think for beginners, it’s hard to find a voice, cause noobies lack confidence. Since they don’t know how to attract visitors or make money with their blogs, they try to emulate big time bloggers. I want to tell you guys, that it’s ok to be you. Because blogging involves writing, some of you may be intimated by it. Don’t be, cause blogging is the most casual and candid form of writing. Just imagine you are talking to your friend. Just pretend that you are writing a buddy or homegirl an email. That’s probably the best advice i can give as far as finding your style.

I’ve had a lot of my ads placed on entrecard rejected. I was wondering why people are doing this. After some research i’ve found that people are gaming entrecard. You get paid in credits for placing ads of other bloggers on the widget. In the beginning, you only get 2 credit/day but your ad space quickly goes up in price once you start getting more ads. What people are doing to game entrecard is…they take the ads and after 30 mins or so, they remove the ad. This gets their ad rate up and they can receive a higher rate per day. Then they take new ads at a higher rate. It’s very annoying and i hope graham gets to the bottom of this.

I was over at johncow reading the tla article. More amusing was the comments left by people. It appears that tla is not paying affiliates for referrals. That’s a big kick in the privates for a website. Not feeding the cash cows for work well done is a sure sign of aglocoville. I’m still a noob, but i’ve been blogging for around 7 weeks. I kinda know what programs work and what are a waste of time and i can say that tla is trash. I wanted to push it for another month or so, but if it’s not working for cow, it’ll definitely not work for my humble blog. The greatest part of that article is johnchow standing up for tla. I know johnchow is that man. He makes some bank with his blog, but he’s no Nostradamus. Not everything he says or does ends up in success. Sometimes he roots for sites like agloco. Next stop tla.

I have a great idea guys. I’m going to sell something…better yet…I’m going to have you sell something for me. I’m going to start selling nothing. huh? You read what i wrote. I’m going to start selling nothing to people on the net. Of course i can’t sell nothing nothing so i will have to package it as an ebook or something useless like that. I’ll have to give it a fancy sounding name. I got it, “Reverse funnel cake system.” I’ll have around 11 pages of random babblings. Writing 11 pages of that is kinda hard so i’ll just tape record my nephew talking about pokemon for 11 minutes and transcribe it. I’ll advertise it at a few big name blogs like johnchow dot com and i’ll set up an affiliate program for this product. I’ll submit it to the affiliate links and viola. I’ll be making thousands in no time. I have a great slogan too, “Snow bunny makes $270,000 with her laptop.”

This idea belongs to the Noob but if you’re an idiot, you can copy it. If you make a quarter million with this idea, i ask that you give me 7 dollars. Thank you.

I was doing some Azoogleads surfing and found the commission for it. $19 dollar commission is not bad but i don’t wanna sell secret ebooks. Comments are good ummkay. John Chow has his top commenter’s displayed on the sidebar of his front page. So far 20 comments will get a link to your site. All free. Don’t spam tho noobs. Johncow has the same set up and requires less comments. Basically if you find a blog that showcases top commenters you should leave comments and you’ll get a free link. It doesn’t help for pagerank but you’ll probably get some traffic your way.
