I think it’s important for bloggers to keep an eye out for competition. Great businesses always watch out for their competition. This isn’t just good for businesses, it’s great for consumers. I check up on my make money peers on a daily basis. I do it cause it’s fun to compare and i find that it also motivates me to keep working on my blog. I think this drive and determination to beat your competition is a detrimental part of growth. Don’t think of it as a cutthroat corporate spy game. It’s Friday night and i after a whole week and a half of dealing with family issues and dealing with wedding issues, i want to take a breather. I don’t want to talk about making money online today. Instead, i wanted to focus on Sex. I like to remain incognito with my blog so i don’t want to reveal too much personal info. I’m starting to noticed a pattern. My heaviest traffic source is now direct traffic. Before, blogcatalog, or entrecard, or digitalpoint, or sitepoint held the top spot. But now, more people are becoming regulars and thus punch in my url to come to my blog. This is great news for me, but at the same time, i’m experiencing a transitional period. My blog gets less new visitors. Bloggernoob dot com has gets stumbled less. My traffic ranges from 300-580 uniques a day, but i haven’t hit the high mark in quite some time. There’s a lot of hero worship going on in the make money blog world. A lot of kissing arse and not a lot of money making. The whole point of setting up a make money blog, is to make money right? Then, why aren’t so many make money bloggers making any? BloggerNoob dot com is a make money blog. And my only mission with this blog is to make money. Although i haven’t made much, i did break the 4 digit mark in less then 6 weeks. That’s right, i made $1000 in 6 weeks with this blog. You know what that means?
