Ipod and Domain Giveaway

July 12th, 2008 by the noob

ipod and domain giveawayIt’s a lazy Saturday so i wanted to give out some free stuff. Two of my most popular giveaways were the domain giveaway and the Ipod contest. I thought that it’d be neat to combine the two. I got another sponsored Ipod Nano from MarketLeverage that i wanted to give out. A couple days ago, i got a challenge from blogger at crunchnow to do a RSS competition. I think it’ll be fun to see who come out victorious. He is offering $250 certificate for a massge. I will be giving away an Ipod Nano. Let’s see what prize will win out. I wanted to give extra incentive to my readers, so i’m giving away free domain names. These domains have been aged so you should be able to hit the SERPs easier with these domain names. It’ll be easier to make money online with these domains. I will give out 1 domain for every 3 RSS subscribers. If 30 of you subscribe to my RSS feed, i’ll give out 10 domain names, and 1 Ipod Nano. Read More to Make Money Online »

Why you should only buy dot com domains

phoebe cates makes money onlineMany of you know that i’ve been getting into domaining. I like playing around with domain names because it’s somewhat similar to what i do as my day job. Domain names are the virtual real estate of the web. Like real estate, they go up in value. Some domain names are listed for millions of dollars. I also like playing with domains because it reminds me of my youth. When i was a young kid, i used to collect baseball cards. I would buy Becket magazine and check to see if my cards went up or not. I had a pretty valuable collection of trading cards. When you’re buying domains, you have to be careful to not buy useless names. Don’t buy names that are too long and stay away from unpronounceable names. Lastly, if you want to make money online, you should only buy dot com domains. Read More to Make Money Online »

Buying domains with Google PR

July 1st, 2008 by the noob

jennifer lopez domains make money onlineIs it worth buying domain names with Google PR? I’ve done a few experiments with this in the past 6 months. I purchased some domains that already had PR on them. I wanted to see if i would lose the PR when the next update occured. I first bought my PR domain for around $40. I was such a noob. I now realize that i overpaid for that domain. If you are thinking about buying dropped or expired domains with PR, don’t pay too much for them. Buy them if you like the name, but don’t buy it for the PR. Cause you’re going to lose the PR. Making money online is about learning from you experiences. If you experiement often, then you’ll gain more understanding of how you can make money online. Read More to Make Money Online »
