City of Chicago
I love this city. I can’t really call it mine cause i’m an LA boy. I’m glad i got a chance to move here though. So what if it gets super cold. Who cares that there aren’t any good Korean restaurants in the downtown area. I still love it here. I’ll be moving back to LA early next year but i know that i’ll come back to visit.
Millenium park has to be the coolest park in America. Maybe some of you may suggest that Central Park is the best. I’m just talking about the cool factor guys. We have a giant silver bean next to a giant silver concert hall. Our peace officers ride around on Segways. Our fountains look you in the eye and spit on your face. It really is a cool park.
Chicago boasts world class cuisine. There are A lot of high and low class restaurants that will tempt your tastebuds. Only wish there was at least one good Korean restaurant. The people here have character. Not all are friendly but they definitely are genuine. It’s quite refreshing compared to LA. So many posers and wannebes in the City of Angels. I lived up in the Chicago area for a few years, and I still have a lot of friends in the area. Its one city that I feel very comfortable in. Probably just because I can find my way around with no issues, and I know I can call any of a number of people and find somewhere to stay, or someone to go out with.
The big issue for me though, the weather. I look outside my window here in Marina Del Rey , and see blue clear skys , and think about the sub zero temps in Chicago , and I decide I will take the bad , along with the good that is LA.

sean morris- yeah it’s very cold and windy here. today was pretty bad. got done with some last min christmas shopping and i thought my face would fall off. i miss LA and i’m so jealous of you for living in marina del rey!
