If you read about it, it’s too late to make money online off of it
Damn that’s a long title for this post. It’s true tho. If you read about it on someone’s blog, it’s already too late to make money off of it. The guys and girls that make money online don’t follow what other people say. They read up to first understand how the game works, and then figure out their own way of beating the system. This game is competitive. Why would anyone in their right mind share their personal secrets. It doesn’t make any sense.
I know how hard it is to blog for money. It’s hard being a webmaster. You have to be your own boss when you don’t know what you’re doing most of the time. This is especially true for noobies because you really don’t know what you’re doing. That’s why you desperately seek out answers. If you look hard enough, you’ll find it. It should be for free. If you paid for it, you most likely got scammed.
Let me tell you something. There is no such thing as easy money. The few people who make “easy money” do so because they entered the game early. They do so because they got lucky. Don’t count on luck when you want to make money online. This game is not for everybody. That’s why most people quit their blogs. I mean really, it’s like playing the lottery. Think of that ebook as a lottery ticket. Do you get surprised when your scratcher doesn’t make you any money? Are you surprised when your numbers don’t hit? Then why are you bummed when that ebook doesn’t help you make any money?
If you’ve read my blog or searched around for info on “making money online,” you already know everything there is to know. If you signed up for all the various ad networks, then you should be receiving email notifications about new promotions and changes. You don’t need to be reading this blog. You don’t need to read “make money online” blogs. Period. You already know how to make money online. Quite looking for answers on other peoples blogs. Spend more time on your own blog, newbie!
Sell your own product or service. (ebook, seo, links, themes and templates) Sell someone elses product or service. (affiliate marketing) Sell a scam. (ebooks, reverse funnel, johnchow) Make people click. (adsense, affiliate links) That’s all there is too it.
All of this require traffic. So go out and get traffic. Be creative and don’t trust others to help you. Money is there but you have to work for it. Know that it’s not easy and just don’t give up. If you really go out and do, then you will see return. It’ll be dollars and cents tho. Don’t expect thousands of dollars, noobie!

loved it when you said: “If you look hard enough, you’ll find it. It should be for free. If you paid for it, you most likely got scammed.” So true!! Lol. I think I started out this way as well. I wanted to learn everything before finally giving more time to my blog than reading mmo blogs. But now things have changed, I only visit blogs that I really like and to do dropping on EC widgets. I think of it this way, most probloggers don’t even bother checking other people’s site. All they do is spend their time trying to find ways to make money, increasing their traffic, adding content, looking for affiliates/sponsors.. etc. It’s all about improving their blog!! So maybe that is what I should do.. and that’s how I really started making money online
darn.
typo: 1. Quite looking, 2. That’s all there is too it

I agree too…just about everything is free if you look hard enough…
July 28th, 2008 at 5:47 pm
Well said that man.
Couldn’t agree more with you noob. Blogging is bloody hard work, I’ve been at it now since March 08. I feel like I have learnt so much in that time.
The only trouble is that the more I learn, the more I realise how little I know
To make matters worse, it’s time to start learning Joomla. I’ll put off java as long as possible though - yuck code :-)))

I think overall the statement is true about once you read something, its done, but in the internet age, anythings possible. I found strategies and programs that were not new at all. I studied them, tweaked them with my own personal style, and they have been great for me.

make money with gbg- good point. the internet makes everything possible. i still think it’s amazing that the super high tech internet is filled with old school scams. like all of these MLM programs or ebook scams or blogmasterminds seems to mirror envelope stuffing scams. obviously people make money this way. not my thing, but scammers gotta eat too right? tweaking is the only way to go.
