Link to Wikipedia to make money online
A lot of the seasoned veterans of the “make money online” game know this simple trick. You gotta link to authority sites in order for Google to recognize your site. That’s why when i set up a new blog, i always link to authority sites. What is an authority site? It’s a site that is dominant in the eyes of google. Wikipedia is a site that google loves. If you don’t believe me, you should do a random search. Most likely, your search will have a wikipedia link on the first page.
Making money online consists of selling and marketing. Basically, you’re selling your sites traffic and links by doing some internet marketing. A lot of bloggers like to differentiate “internet marketing” blogs with “make money online” blogs, but i believe that they are one in the same. Both blog about how to make money online. Both types of blogs just blog about blogging. It’s pretty silly to say that they are in separate niches.
Before i go on a tangent, let me get back to linking to authority sites. Find sites that come for the search terms your working on. Check each and every site that appears on the first page of Google. Don’t link to every site tho. Link to sites that have been indexed multiple times. Usually you’ll notice multiple catalog links for authority sites. In the example above, you’ll notice that bloggernoob dot com is an authority for search term “bloggernoob.” Find sites like that for your search terms. In the make money online niche, problogger is probably the only authority site.
Do some research on authority sites. Seek out the sites in your niche that google seems to like. Note that it doesn’t have to be popular sites. Johnchow is a popular site, but doesn’t hold much favor in the eyes of google. Don’t link to johnchow. Link to problogger instead. When in doubt, link to wikipedia. If you that, you will start making money online.

All you need to do is provide some content. This requires a lot of time, but a well written article on one of these sites will yield a lot of Google juice. Meaning, your sites will greatly benefit in the long term. You will have permanent links to your site from Authority sites. [...]

G’day, I found your site while searching how to make money with wikipedia and it led to this article. I agree 100% with you too. I have recently built a page basically about nothing but with links to 10 authority sites and it ranks number 8 for a competitive term. I recommend putting one of th links in the very first sentence.
