Make money blog income after 125 days

March 6th, 2008 by the noob

meg-ryan.jpgAfter 125 days of blogging on this make money blog, i’ve made close to 6,000 dollars. Pretty crazy right? I actually spent a lot of time on this blog. Probably more then most make money bloggers. Making money online is totally possible but like most things in life, it’s going to take a lot of time and a lot of hard work. There is no such thing as easy money. Sites or blogs that promise that are scams or pyramid schemes. This income report is not just for the month of Feb, it is my total earning. I started this blog in July 2007, but didn’t work on it until October 20th. If you want to see how much i made since my last report, just minus the total income after 100 days from this report.

Paid Plugs

Payperpost- 1102.14 + 74 referrals($15 each) $1110 = $2212.14

Smorty- 42 + 28 referrals($5 each) 140 = $182

Sponsoredreviews- 895.70 + 57 blog referrals($10 each) 570 + 6 advertiser referrals($25 each) 150 = $1615.70

Blogtoprofit- $25.00

Bloggerwave- $10.00

blogsvertise- $5.00

Money4blogs- $35.00

Affiliates

Commission Junction- $1,322.42

PPC/Signup Bonus/referrals

Adbrite- $0.32

Widgetbucks- $25.00

Auctionads- $25.00

Textlinkads- $25.00

BloggerNoob Ads

Private ads- 18 + 60 + 35 + 225 + 40 = $378.00

TOTAL- $5820.58

I had a strong month but not all of the income i’ve stated here is in my pocket yet. Most of the referral income is still pending. I did get over 3,000 dollars either by paypal or check. I spent some of my earning promoting my blog and doing contests. I also paid for my plane tickets to Los Angeles a few times. Gotta love blogging! If you like what i’m doing, maybe you should subscribe to my RSS feed.

I am not quite making enough per month yet but my goal is only around $1000.

I just had a little boost today as PPP accepted my main blog and now I can do the odd Paid post over there.

I gotta look into commision junction as just purchased Micro Niche Finder and am going to get into the Affiliate Marketing malarky.

    Your stats are inspiring.

2thepoint- thank you thanks you :)

    oreop- i shall try. thanks

roshan- thanks. it’s hard in the beginning, but it does get easier in time.

ccricers- haha. i used to love meg ryan

gerl- thanks for stopping by. hope you come back.

    gen- awesome!

ging- thanks for subscribing. i do a lot of contests so that may very well happen. where did you find my site? somewhere is very vague…

phil- yeah. i’m testing it out. it would have been cool if you took the opp. i really wanted my readers to get in on that. hmm. my ppp secret is that i don’t have a secret. i think you jus thave to keep checking for opps. some days i don’t get anything. other days, i get too many. i think it helps to build up your PR and alexa. Since google taxes bloggers for doing PR, you really can’t count on it if you want to do ppp. so try to focus on your alexa ranking.

tim- haha. best line of the movie.

forest parks- 1000/month isn’t an easy feat, but it’s totally doable. especially if you have more then one blog. which you do. I think working the affiliates will up your income. you can only do so many paid posts.

    julie- thanks jules

chica- thanks chica. hopefully i can pay for my honeymoon with my next affilate check.

  15. Gerri Says:

That is very impressive. I hope things just get better and better for you. I will back to visit a whole lot more and I hopefully I wil learn a thing a two and maybe one day get up to your current level.

  16. menopauseprincess Says:

Noob you are the man, congratulations!

  17. WebDiggin Says:

Bow down to the master. Noob, I’m totally jealous. I’ve been messin’ around with trying to make money online and I haven’t had nearly the success that you’ve had.

I’ve made around $900, but I’ve also spent around $1200 in advertising costs (Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing).

I’m green with envy at your $1300 of Commission Junction income - are you do PPC advertising on the search engines in addition to this blog, or is it just the links from this site?

Keep it up, man. You’re my new hero.

  18. bloggernoob Says:

gerri- thank you very much. hopefully i can keep this up.

menopauseprincess- thanks princess. i shall try to continue doing what i do.

webdiggin- haha. no master here. i think you spent way too much in advertising. i think you should look into more affiliate commissions and stop spending so much on adwords and yahoo search marketing. work the traffic and you’ll get seeing a little bit of private ads income as well. paid plugs also add to the money count.

  19. WebDiggin Says:

Yeah, I totally spent way too much in advertising. I just kept hoping that the commissions would turn up. My first Pay Per Post got accepted but all the opportunities are closed. (Greyed out or pink) How long did it take you to start opening those Pay Per Post opportunities?

  20. the noob Says:

webdiggin- it’s good to hope, but when you have to spend money and hope, that’s where a pyramid type scam happens. always be cautious when spending money online. ppp has been laggy the past couple of days. i haven’t had any decent gigs so i passed. i try not to take the lower paying ones. haha. im getting all big headed :) i think if you have a good alexa rank and some traffic, you should see more posting opps. PR helps too, but if you do ppp, you’ll most likely lose your PR in the next update.

  21. murad @ onlineearns.com Says:

    Hey ,
    i have a question ,

How google detects that you are posting from Pay per post ??

And why don’t you use reviewme ?? Huh ?

  22. the noob Says:

murad- reviewme sucks. google finds and detects most ppp links and taxes them. so people who advertise or publish ppp posts, will see their pr go down. don’t know the science of it, but they follow those tinyurl links.

  23. murad @ onlineearns.com Says:

But i see john chow use reviewme and make huge money !!! How is that possible ??? And a off topic question : what is payperpost payout method ?? check, paypal or what because I’m looking for good one who pay via chck or payoneer master card .
