Make Money Online 8 months income report

July 4th, 2008 by the noob

make money online jessica alba income reportBloggerNoob dot com is 8 months young. When started this blog back in Oct of 2007 i was a fresh “make money online” noob. The past few months have been a great learning experience and a transition period. I am now the owner of over 100 websites. I have over 300 semi premium domain names in my portfolio. I’ve invested my own money into other various web projects. You have to be careful tho when you invest your money in the web. I’ve learned that there are a lot of trash “make money online” blogs and scams. That’s why I try not to read other “make money online” blogs. You shouldn’t trust them too much. Even my blog is a piece of (shut your mouth). Anyway, here is my 8 months income report. If you want to see how much i made last month, just subtract last months income report total with this report.

My affiliate commissions and private ad sales have gone down. I haven’t been posting screenshots in my last few income reports. So, i decided to do the extra grunt work and flash some visuals. Note, that i’m still waiting on a lot of the referral income from paid plugging sites. Noobies, if you joined under me, get busy! I won’t get paid unless you get paid first.

Paid Plugs

ppp income reportPayperpost- $2261.62 + 125 referrals($15 each) $1875.00 = $4,136.62

Smorty- $67.14 + 42 referrals($5 each) $210 = $277.14

income report sponsored, make money onlineSponsoredreviews- $1814.80 + 94 blog referrals($10 each) $940 + 7 advertiser referrals($25 each) $175 = $2,929.80

Blogtoprofit- $25.00

Bloggerwave- $40.00

blogsvertise- $5.00

Money4blogs- $35.00

Affiliates

make money online cj income reportCommission Junction- $2,391.01

PPC/Signup Bonus/referrals

Adbrite- $4.38

Widgetbucks- $25.00

Project Wonderful- $14.17

Auctionads- $25.00

- $25.00

BloggerNoob Ads

Private ads- 18 + 60 + 35 + 225 + 40 + 275 + 520 + 365 = $1538.00

TOTAL- $11,471.12

Don’t be fooled by this or any other income report. A lot of the referral income has not be collected yet. Also, some other misc sources of income and or expense is not accounted for. I also have a budget of around $100-$200 month that i spend to promote this blog. The first couple of months, i spent a lot of time on this blog. Now, i try not to spend no more then an hour and a half a day average on this blog. Considering, this little hobby of mine is starting to show potential. Noob out!

    Congrats!!
Your hard work in your blogs really pays off.
It is not impossible for bloggers to reach that 5 digit income if the focus and the passion of blogging is always there.

    Hi bloggernoob,

I am currently into writing paid reviews and I joined SponsoredReviews and PPP. However, how can I earn more money from it.

I have PR2 on my blog and it isn’t doing exactly as I hope for because many advertisers are looking for at least PR3 blogs.

Any tips? I heard PPP is awesome only to people in USA and Canada.

eric- thanks eric. couldn’t agree with you more. Having more sites helps too. i think my plan of building up a lot of micro sites is working. is it hard to make 10 dollars a day with you site? no. how about if i go lower. is it hard to make a dollar a day? lower your expectation even more. how about 10 cents a day? just need to set up like 300 websites. ;) not full on blogs. just a couple pages per site. let adsense or adbrite or kontera feed you 5 cents at a time. ;)

desmond- sup desmond. i dont think there is a full proof way to make a lot with those programs. The big earner on that site is colleen and she only makes a couple hundred a month. I like them, but i’m planning on using them less to monetize this blog. But i’ll still use them on my other blogs. Don’t just rely on them. try to get your own paid posting gigs. whatever you average per paid post is, try to get it in private ads. it takes a bit of networking and time, but u can do it. if i were you, i’d stay away from ppp. they tend to favor us residents.

  4. Earnblogger Says:

That’s a nice income report. Great income too. I’m still in 4 figure. All the best.

  5. the noob Says:

earnblogger- thanks bro. you’ll be 5 figures in no time. just don’t give up. and try to not follow there MMO sheep.

  12. the noob Says:

chris- no problem. i really love blogging. if i didn’t, there’s no way that i would have lasted 8 months. The money isn’t good. but it’s allowed me to open my eyes to how the web economy works. i appreciate you reading my little blog. cheers ;)

steve- thanks steve. the income report isn’t all that accurate. ;) if Arthur Anderson PricewaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, Ernst & Young and KPMG can’t keep their books straight. i’m sure the noob here can’t either. luckily i don’t have to answer to anyone. No Enron or Worldcom scandals. ;)

Have been attempting for over 1 month to get into PayPerPost??

    Keep getting rejected. Any suggestions??

Guess I got my work cut out for me. Haven’t even started making any profits. Having a hard time getting readers and page views let alone advertisers

  16. the noob Says:

wendy- really? that’s terrible. U know what, im starting to hate them. my site was loading slow cause of there tracking code. i tried to get support, but nothing. the support at izea is useless. And they don’t try to help. I’m gonna drop them and stop pushing them in the next few months.

    Congrats Noob,

You probably don’t realize it but you are making more than 95% of the folks calling themselves IMers. You have proven that hard work and persistence does pay off and you will only get better. It’s posts like this that keep things real - far too many people think in terms of getting rich when they should be thinking about creating a steady income stream that can grow in time.

Keep at it and all the best Noob

  22. the noob Says:

grizzly- thanks grizz. thanks for your encouraging words. I’m realizing that this little hobby of mine is starting to pay off. Just need like 10 more of these and i’m good to go. ;)

  23. revenue Says:

wow congratulation to you, that is only for one blogs ? :)

  24. the noob Says:

revenue- yes. the income reports on this blog are income from this blog alone. It wouldn’t be correct if i added income from my other sites to this blog’s income report. ;) I do have other blogs, but i keep things all separate. cheers!

  25. Lisa Irby Says:

I love it when bloggers provide a breakdown of their income. It’s something I’m trying to do more as it build credibility and interest. Found you on EntreCard and glad I did. Great blog!

  26. bloggernoob Says:

lisa- i’m glad u found me too/ ;) writing income reports is a good way to spark interest in a new blog. People seems to love dollar signs.

  27. RT Cunningham Says:

“bloggermoob”? Looks like a typo there…

Great job. I didn’t even START focusing on making money until this year. I’m doing okay, but I’ve been busy doing other things and even had to leave the country for a month. :-)

  28. RT Cunningham Says:

Sorry, the font just ran together. On closer inspection, it the r and n are really close together.

  29. bloggernoob Says:

RT cunningham- where’d you go? I love traveling. Did u leave for pleasure or work related? Yeah, i’ve been busy whoring this blog out. ;) Your blog is looking solid. When did you start that blog?

  30. RT Cunningham Says:

I went back to the U.S. for my wife’s dual-tonsillectomy. It was an expensive trip, round-trip from the Philippines, because Philippine Airlines was on strike at the time and I had to pay a higher ticket price with Continental. Not to mention, more layovers in both directions.

I started my blog at the end of May, 2006, so it’s more than 2 years old. One thing I noticed after the 2-year mark was that my keywords were rising higher in the SERPS and my traffic increased by another hundred unique searchers per day on average.

It’s fun, but I really need to get more niche blogs started. I only have 4 in place (and already ranking) and need to create at least 1 or 2 a month. Sometimes my heart isn’t it and it’s better to wait until this tired 47-year old body has the drive to work on them.

  31. bloggernoob Says:

rt cunningham- icic. I hope she is doing well. So you live in the philippines. I wanna go there. My wife’s already been there and said it’s beautiful. Sorry to hear that you had to pay extra cause of the strike. What a bummer.

Nice. I guess i have something to look forward to with my blogs. ;) Mind me asking how much you currently make with you collection of websites. Do you own other websites besides blogs?

Yeah totally. I get lazy sometimes, but i want to start up a new blog every week. i think it really helps to have a collection of sites where you can link to each other and etc. The way i figure, if i can turn one site into a 100/month site, then i can repeat that 30 times to make 3000/month. Blogging is too time consuming to set up too many. But you can use wordpress as a cms for static sites. Or just put up html pages with keyword rich content. anyway, thanks for your web input. And good to hear from you.

  32. RT Cunningham Says:

To be honest, I don’t know the total of what I make. I get $150-$200 from AdSense every month for my main blog. Other income comes in spurts. The newer blogs are sandboxed, but are still getting hits.

I’m not pushing myself to be blogging rockstar. Really. I get a monthly retirement pension and anything above and beyond that is gravy.

  33. wowo Says:

Wow, that was a huge income from blogging. How much blogs do you have to get income such like that? Only from this blog?
    Congrats!

  34. the noob Says:

rt cunningham- 150-200 a month from adsense is awesome. great job. i wish i hand a site like that. ;)

wowo- the income report u see here is from this blog alone. I have other blogs, but i don’t mix income reports. thanks
