Make money online by lying your ass off

make money online by lying your ass off like jennifer lopezBig fat lies are the currency of the “make money online” trade. Everybody, i mean EVERYBODY, lies in this game. The key to a good lie is to make it believable. The first week of the month usually has a lot of income report posts. It seems like every “make money online” bloggers has one. I even saw a noobie blogger post his $0.00 earning for one of his post. It was pretty funny.

Income reports. Everyone lies about this. I think chow is to blame for these monthly posts. Posting screenshot of your income report means nothing. It means that you’re good at photoshop. It is a good way for referral income because most of your readers are stupid. I think it’s safe to say that there are a lot of idiot in this world. Look at all these “make money online” schemes. So many people fall victim to these scams.

Lie about your authority. When you converse with someone, it’s like a debate. It’s a competition. In order to come out victorious, you need to beat down your opponent. Lying and coming off like someone who knows shit is probably the best way. It’s all about confidence. If a guy is wishy washing about something he knows really well, the reader won’t be convince. But, if you have that same guy pretend to be knowledgeable about something he knows nothing about, you’ve got the readers attention.

This niche is a big fat lie. Can you really make a lot of money online by blogging? Not really. If you do, you hit the lottery. You got real lucky. You can make a few dollars here and there, but that’s it. If you really want to make a lot of money, you better come up with a brilliant scam or something. If you want to make money, design and build iphone apps. Make a facebook application or something. Don’t blog for money. The ceiling for “make money online” bloggers is way too low. At best, you will make $100 a day. That’s if you’re real lucky and if you spend a lot of time writing and lying your ass off. There are a lot of other ways to make money online. Blogging is one of the worst. And MMO blogging is THE worst. I got lucky with bloggernoob and i know that this blog won’t last. But i am grateful for starting this blog. It made me set up other websites. And, it forced me to learn more about the web. I know that my new found knowledge will prove to be an asset.

“Ad networks help you make money online.” What a crock of shit. I don’t know a single ad network that helps me make money. The money i make is all me! I put in all the work and if i’m lucky, i make a few bucks.

The moral of this story is that everything is a lie. Don’t get excited with all these income reports come out. It’s all bull shit. Don’t believe the hype of all of these “get rich” scams. Don’t buy that ebook or keyword generating whatever. Don’t pay money to SEO “experts.” All those claims are false. The so called “expert” advice is nothing more then shit in a nice package. It’s just great marketing. How do i know? Because i do it too. And i make money off of my lies. Noob out!

Fake it ’til you make it, isn’t it? That’s the reason why I don’t want show income reports. I don’t need them anyway as this blog is part of a marketing site with a marketing plan.

The blog is just another resource to receive traffic, but nonetheless I’m trying to give good value to my readers and brand myself through it.

  2. what about blog

LOL. I don’t have anything to add, just wanted to say that I really enjoyed this post, and got a few chuckles out of it. :) It’s all so true, but no one really comes out and says it.

Way to go BloggerNoob…yep, that’s the gist of this biz…I just started a new blog, it’s for newbies who want to generate traffic, leads in their biz…see I was poking around in a forum and lots of newbies were hanging on to my every word…so I got a lot of leads, and an idea…but you are right, my blog that is reputable doesn’t get a lot of traffic, and hardly any sales from the ad networks. However, my new blog directed towards the newbies in one week got me 13 RSS subs, 10 leads, 100-200 uniques/day…I think I may have found my niche…

Very good points! I would say that 95% of bloggers lie about how much money they make. Nobody wants to say, “I don’t make any money from my blog!”

But there are some who actually do make good money blogging so not everyone is lying!

Wow, somebody is mad :) Sounds like you started out with an idea of being a “reputable” blogging and you’re mad that you have to compromise to get people to visit. I’d be mad too. I agree with you. The blogs/posts I have that do the best are about making money, doing surveys for money, or winning sweepstakes. The rest get so-so results. But, I won’t change what I do to make a buck. I guessing the lying part depends on how bad you want to make money. Good post.

Oh, I am now using a different url for my comments. I used to be http://swishersweetie.blogspot.com (which is still my personal blog) and now will be using http://www.businessbloggingguide.com (since you can only have one linked to you this is the one I will be using.

I don’t lie. My numbers are what I have been paid (not pending payments) BEFORE PayPal takes their cut.

Then again, I don’t really stick to the ‘rules’ much either…heh heh.

    Good post!

  7. KushMoney

Good post, most “mmo” bloggers may or may not tell the truth and its best to believe its lies. Its all about what you feel will work and go for it.

Side note: My income report is very different from other bloggers because they only post their blog income. I post my network of sites income and anything else I did to make money online that month.

Noob, keep up the great posts.

  8. Simple Mindz

LOL. This was a great post! I myself have always doubted how much actual money bloggers make.
And I figure, if they do make that much – it will eventually end.
    Just like a models career..lol

My blog isn’t about making money, and I am currently not doing anything to make money on it. I will again someday, though. And from past experience, my top month was somewhere in the $160 range. But once again, that is pretty much without even really trying.

I think part of the problem is the concept of the money making blog. My personal opinion is one will do better by finding their niche. Then, if your good at what you do and know your subject matter well, you will find ways to turn that into money.

This was a very entertaining read. I don’t fall into the category of lying; however, I don’t fall into the category of making money online.

  11. Hugo Santos

an income report of $0? hehe where was it? well, at least the blogger didn’t lied… or did he?
i can honestly say that i have never lied on an income report… i barely lie blogging… so that must be the reason why i don’t make a living with blogging… lol

anthony- yup. im mostly talking about the “make money online” niche. most mmo bloggers are fakers.

greg ellison- sixty one dollars ain’t too shabby. keep it up. πŸ˜‰

what about blog- awesome. its gets boring writing about scams and money blogging. glad it made u laugh. πŸ˜‰

teasastips- great job on your new site. u might think about flipping blogs. impressive stats. πŸ˜‰

    trent brownrigg- 95%, i would say it’s closer to 99.9% πŸ˜‰

wendy- not mad. i still make money with this and my other blogs. just wanted to point out the ugly for noob bloggers who visit this blog. πŸ˜‰ i know who u are wendy. thanks for clarifying, and good job getting your own domain. πŸ˜‰

wess stewart- i think lie might have been a strong word. got peoples attention tho. maybe i should have wrote fib.

kushmoney- i’ve seen ur income reports. i think it’s a good idea. it’s cool to see what other bloggers states as their income. no way to prove or disprove it tho. πŸ˜‰

zawadi- haha, thanks zawadi. i like when u drop by. u still play video games? btw, what was your income?

desmond- haha. i wasn’t talking about you, but i guess there are a lot of people who post zero dollars on their income report. not even 5 cents desmond? πŸ˜‰

m4stono- yup. that’s why this crappy blog of mine makes money. cause people want to make a quick buck. they don’t understand that it takes time and creativity. not to mention a lot of hard work.

simple mindz- πŸ˜‰ thanks. yup. speaking of models, i am still waiting for a hot pic of you…

    roy- spam?

steve- buck 60 without even trying. that is awesome. good job πŸ˜‰

masked millionaire- liar. hell yeah. jo ho is hot like fire. too bad both of them are box office poison.

stephan miller- u say potato, i say potatoe. but yeah, just need to get creative. need to spice things up. lying is a quick and easy way to do just that. seo and link building takes a lot of time. people don’t want to actually work to make money online. they want to buy get rich schemes. πŸ˜‰

beau71- if u lie, u’ll prob make a few bucks. i think u have to be creative. do borderline shady things to make money online.

hugo- he could have still lied. he might have bought a scammy ebook or bought yaro’s blogmastermind. put him at -60 dollars. or more. so his income report should have been negative instead of zero. πŸ˜‰

mike c- thanks for not reading but writing a comment. can’t say that you’re lazy, just not a fan of reading.

  13. KiwiPulse

I hardly believe people by word when it comes to money they are making. Most of people tend to lies because they don’t want to say that they failed. Knowing that, I can only judge on what you really making if I see your cash check or how big is your wallet. πŸ˜€

  14. the noob Post author

zawadi- twenty bucks is still twenty bucks. good job. u ever think about getting your own domain and hosting?

kiwipulse- yup. i think that way too. i only believe when it makes sense in my head. most of the “make money online” garbage doesn’t make any sense to me. they all seems like pyramid schemes. πŸ˜‰

more merchant- don’t lie…just fib a little. or edit your posts a bit more. u’d be surprised how powerful editing is. πŸ˜‰
