Paint and Photoshop

munchscream.jpgBlogs without pictures are like comics without drawings. Its like an essay. Back in the olden times, images were too big to be used on webpages. Dial up modems made it hard to have an interactive experience via the internet. Now, we have lightening speed internet access and there is not reason why you shouldn’t put up images on your blog. I know content is king and google only sees the words. But you cannot make your pages only for google. Readership is what makes you money. People are the ones who will continue to come to your site. They are the one who will click thru and get you paid. Put up some pictures on your blog.

Two great tools even for noobs.

Microsoft Paint- This comes standard on any Windows operating system. The screen shot function is key to getting quality images you can work with. All you have to do is find the screenshoot(Print Screen) button on your keyboard and press. Open up the paint program and go to edit and paste. Viola you have an image of your whole screen.

Photoshop-You don’t need the full program. I think you can buy photoshop elements at Bestbuy or Amazon for like 70 bucks. this comes in handy to edit or enhance any image you want to place in your posts. It’s pretty easy learn the basics.
