Read the blogs of differnt ad programs
Many of the top ad programs feature their own blog. These blogs feature updates and news related to making money online. The popular MMO bloggers take news from these sites and publish it on their blogs. Wannabe chows then regurgitate the content from chow’s blog. Why settle for info from a secondary source like chow’s restaurant review blog, when you can hit the primary source. A lot of make money online bloggers are in desperate need of content. In fact, this is true of all media. That’s why there is so much junk online and on TV. People want new info and they want it fast. If you have a make money online blog, be the first to report such news by going directly to the source.
Even if your blog isn’t a “make money” type blog, you still probably want to make money from it. Be the first in your niche to try out a new promotion. Try out new programs and you’re sure to make more then your counterpart. If your competitors are reading chow for info, then you have them beat. Because you cut out the middleman in the supply of info, you’re already one step ahead of the curve.
Here are some great ad network blogs.
Kontera’s blog - A lot of info on what’s going on in the industry. They even blogrolled me. Props to Kontera!
Market Leverage blog - More of a donation blog for good causes, but it’s a fun read.
Pepperjam Network Blog - Has a lot of great info about their ad network and about the affiliate industry.
You get the idea. Seek info from the root. Whatever ad network you use, find source material from them directly instead of relying on other bloggers to spoon feed you content.

LOL @ “chow’s restaurant review blog”
Good points though. I had never heard of Market Leverage, and will check them out. It’s always nice to give back.

Speaking of ad’s noob. You realize you’re losing like $35 a month with that silly win this ad spot 125×125 that’s been up for about a month and a half right?

That is a really good idea. You could also take their blogs RSS feed and publish it or them for regular readers. Most people sign up for affiliate programs and dont know they have a blog about themselves.
