Top 10 Business related movies
Everybody loves a top 10 list. Well I’m not just an internet geek I’m also a movie dork. Big time movie buff so i put together a list of my top ten business related movies. These aren’t rent movies, these are buy movies. If its not a part of you dvd collection, then i highly suggest you pick these up.
1. Wall Street (20th Anniversary Edition)-Gorden Gecko is the apex of cool. Charlie Sheen had such a promising career back in the 80s.
2. Glengarry Glen Ross-Great play by David Mamet and get movie with an all star cast. ABC baby. “Coffee is for closers”
3. Startup.com-Great documentary about an internet startup company’s rise and fall. This is E-Dreams are two great internet business documentaries.
4. E-Dreams-Similar to Startup-com but with an Asian cast. Follows Kosmo.com’s rise and fall.
5. Boiler Room- The poorman’s version of Wall Street. This is the hiphop generations answer to Glen Gary Glen Ross. Can’t really compare but i like the cast and it’ll get you pumped.
6. Pirates of Silicon Valley- The story of Apple and MS. Noah and Anthony M Hall are great in this movie. Been a fan of A. Hall since ever since Weird Science. If you don’t know the story of Apple you gotta watch this made for TV movie.
7. Rounders (Collector’s Edition)- Not a conventional business movie but still got the key elements. And besides, to some people poker is business.
8. 24 Hours on Craigslist-Quirky documentary about Craigslist.com
9. Jerry Maguire- For the workaholics who need to experience an epiphany
10. Clerks II (Two-Disc Widescreen Edition)-Cause no matter what you do, we are all clerks. And OMG Rosario Dawson. When she started dancing, BloggerNoob Wept.
