Yesterday was V day and the future wife and i went ice skating in Millenium park. Doesn’t yet have the nice ring to it like ice skating at central park, but it was still awesome. They had the 80s romance ballads playing and the rink was filled with couples. Most of the people there couldn’t skate but that made the experience sweeter. It was very romantic. The trees were lit with white lights and the city lights added to the ambiance. When i first visited Chicago, i thought it was a great city. It was unbelievable how they could fit so many people in such little space. The density here in Chicago is amazing. I’m from Los Angeles, so i’m not used to tall building or public transportation. The energy in Chicago is fantastic. Here, you can just walk around downtown and feel alive. I’m not a fan of the deep dish Chicago Pizza, but they also have some terrific New York style pizzas here in Chicago that can give New York pizza parlors a run for their money. Only bad thing is that it’s kinda hard to move about in your car. The freeway system isn’t as developed as it is in LA. Can’t find parking during business hours anywhere in the downtown area without paying like 30 bucks. Visit Chicago with Trusted Tours & Attractions. There are a lot of things to do in Chicago.
