Why i won’t comment on your blog

fifth.jpgThere’s nothing more annoying then to read a post, like it, and go to comment and find that you have to login. I think commenting is a great way to network and show your appreciation for the blog, but you have to make it easy on the commentator.

I won’t comment on your blog if i have to login. I won’t comment on your blog if i can’t leave my link. (blogspot blogs) I won’t comment on your blog if i have to fill in code. (Use akismet. i don’t want to calculate what 17×32 is. I’m done with school, so quit giving me homework) I won’t comment on your blog if i can’t find it. (i see a lot of blogger drowning the comment area with ads) I won’t comment on your blog if you don’t respond. (why leave a comment if you don’t even take the time to read and respond to it) I won’t comment on your blog if your post sucks. (take the time to write something useful)

Your readers and commentators are precious for your blog’s growth, you should give them reasons to comment, not the other way around.

Totally agree, I hate it when you have to login to a blogspot account, because I created this ages ago and want to add my own branding etc.
Although I’d have to disagree with you on the Askimet spam defense, this stops a lot of spam for many people.

This is so true, but it’s hard to avoid in some cases. People have different blog spots, and different things like ant spam words and such. You don’t have any here which is really nice.

nick-i wonder why they changed blogspot so that you can’t leave your url. that’s annoying. i meant use askimet. i love it. stopped over a hundred spam comments already.

chica-chica i seriously think you should get your own domain and hosting. you’re a good blogger
